My passion for embroidery began when I was studying at Aberdeen College, where I learnt the art of free-hand embroidery. I then went on to study at Gray's school of Art. Although I learned many other techniques during my time at University, I always favoured embroidery. In my final year, I largely taught myself how to use the digital embroidery machine, designing my graduate collection. It was then I knew I wanted to specialise in embroidery. I graduated from Gray's School of Art in 2017 with a BA honours degree in Fashion and Textiles. 
In 2019, I got engaged and knew this was my chance to design and make my very own outfit. In July 2021 I got married and was very proud to wear my handmade wedding outfit. All my hard work had paid off! I felt amazing wearing a bespoke wedding outfit, knowing it was one of kind made it so special.
My chapel-length veil was appliqued with free-hand embroidery and hand finished with over 3,000 Swarovski crystals. 
This is when I knew I wanted to specialise in wedding veils. 
 I want to make brides feel as amazing as I did, wearing a work of art that is designed specifically for you is just the most amazing feeling. I know how stressful planning a wedding is, so helping a brides vision come alive is such a privilege.
 

 

 

 

The process

  • Step 1.

    Initially we will discuss any specific designs, styles and lengths you have in mind. Feel free to send any photos of inspiration you have. You will then receive a quote based on what we have discussed. Depending on the design, a small deposit may be required at this stage. I will then draw up a couple designs for you to have a look at.

  • Step 2.

    Once a design has been chosen you will receive a customer information form which will include all the information we have discussed and agreed on. At this stage a 20% non-refundable deposit will be requested prior to the making of the veil which will be deducted from the final payment.

  • Step 3.

    This is the exciting stage where I will begin making your veil. I will send you progress photos to ensure you are happy along the way. Once the veil is made you will be sent a final photo. Once the final payment has been made, I will post your veil 2nd class sign for.
